When you can’t face your family, you can count on Relate to help you sort it out

Relate family counselling helps you understand what’s gone wrong in your family and take steps to sort it out. Relate knows how unhappy families can get when things change at home. We help everyone to have their say so that you can find a way through the upheavals and the arguments.

Families trust Relate because we understand how families work – more and more families and step-families turn to us every year!

Relate counsellors and therapists are trained by Relate in the most up-to-date techniques to help families resolve their problems.

Relate family counsellors are independent of services like schools or social services – our work is confidential unless there is an indication that someone is at risk.

Any family can refer themselves to Relate at any time – if you are keen to make peace at home, and get on top of the situation, there is a Relate Centre near you who can help
